India produces more number of engineers than China. Currently, many students prefer to become an engineer instead of a doctor or other. The life of an engineer students start from 11th class when he starts his preparation for JEE exam. After completing the graduation he has many options to choose from.
Below we have made a stage overview of an engineering students.
1. 12th Class – The first stage of every engineering students is JEE exam, if you are studying in 12th class then you should apply for Jee 2018 exam, the JEE MAIN 2018 Application form will release in the month of Nov or Dec 2017. You can start your engineering career by giving this exam. This exam give you admission into the Top IITs & NITs. You should start your preparation from 11th class, so that you have enough time for your preparation.
2. After Graduation – After completing your graduation, you can many options, like UPSC if you want to join defence line or SSC if you want to get an secure govt job. If you are final year of your graduation then you can apply for SSC CGL 2018 Exam.
Below is list of some of the exams, which you can give after or in final year of your graduation.
AFCAT : This is an All India level defence recruitment exam to select candidates for Air force. AFCAT is held twice a year, for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent/ Short Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branches through Air Force Common Admission Test.
CAT – The common admission test ( CAT ) is conducted by IIM. By giving this exam you can complete your post graduation from IIM.
GATE – Gate exam is conducted by IIT for admission into IIT for PG courses.
There are many options after graduation, here we have listed only few exams but you can google that a broad list of exams are available which you can give after your graduation. Although the life of an engineer students is so easy, due to increment in engineer students the competition for the exams have increased by 10 times. So if you are really sure that you want to pursue your life as an engineer students then it’s better to choose Engineering path.
