23 Dec Results and Questions of the 1st Annual Open Math Quiz 2020

Gonit Sora recently organized its 1st Annual Open Mathematics Quiz 2020. Over 350 teams from all over India (and a few from abroad) registered for the quiz, and 128 turned up for the prelims that were held on 21st December, 2020. The questions (with answers) of the prelims can be found here.

The six top teams were selected for the finals which was held on 22nd December 2020. The questions (with answers) of the finals can be found here. The final results are as follows:

1st: Jyotesh Singh (IIM Bangalore) & Mukunth Raghavan (University of Chicago Booth School of Business) Finals Score: 195

2nd: Amrit Kumar (IIT Hyderabad) & Satyanand Subhash (University of Delhi) Finals Score: 165

3rd: G Akshay (IIT Delhi) Finals Score: 100

4th: Sayan Mazumdar (Gauhati Medical College and Hospital) & Bishwayan Bhattacharjee (Gauhati Medical College and Hospital) Finals Score: 80

5th: Aniruddha Deb (IIT Delhi) Finals Score: 70

6th: Edgar Elizeche (IIT Delhi) Finals Score: 65
