## 04 Oct Questions on Sets, Relations and Functions

Sets, Relations and Functions are of utmost importance in the study

of mathematics. Most of the students find these topics difficult and

hence they tend to avoid studying these in Higher Secondary level. As

a result they face a lot of conceptual problems in degree classes. I

have collected some random problems on sets, relations and functions

here. I hope that the curious readers may try to solve these.

The file can be downloaded here.

Posted at 12:25h, 10 OctoberThere are a few typos in the problem set. Thanks to Dr. S. Parthasarathy ( drpartha@gmail.com ) of Hyderabad for pointing these out to me via email. Question number 30 is actually a part of Q. No. 29. We need to find the domain of the function in Q.No 30. Also, the denominator of the expression inside the square root is 6+35x-6x^2 and not 6+35-6x^2.
